Godminster Cheese

Godminsters’ Hunkey Punks cheese packaging explores the wonderful world of folklore. Designed to tell a story, each pack delivers a bold, punchy look capturing the true essence of myth and legend found within the ancient rolling hills of Somerset.

We were tasked with the design and development of their new packaging, weaving in narrative, character design and personality into each pack. The Red Leicester and English Cheddar take on the form of ‘The Mighty Middlewick Witch’ and ‘Scarlet Crumb’, incorporating the iconic Godminster ‘G’. Each character name and illustration is based on historic documentation and fable dating back through Somerset’s rich history.

These cheeses don’t just stand out on shelf, they’ll go down in history as something people will talk about for years to come.
