Upper Woodlands

A luxury retreat set in the rolling hills of Somerset where time slows down and complete relaxation becomes the focus for anyone who stays there.

When considering the visual identity of Upper Woodlands, we took inspiration from the beautiful area that surrounds the site. The tranquil foothills of Glastonbury, the wide open space of the retreat itself and elements found inside the local area. But most importantly the idenity took huge inspiration from their very own resident birds that nest close by…the swallow.

We created a living, breathing, moving identity. One that takes inspiration from natures grand ballet in the sky. The animated murmuration moves freely before taking form into a series of icons, representing all that Upper Woodlands has to offer.
